Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility in Selma, AL. This position is available as Full Time or PRN, focusing on planning, directing OT services to ensure high-quality resident care in line with federal, state, and local standards.

Responsibilities include resident screenings, implementing treatment plans, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Must have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular screening of residents to determine best intervention per scope of practice.
• Perform treatment plans and follow short- and long-term goals with supervision.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents, families, and the team.
• Establish resident therapy schedules with other team members.
• Conduct therapy per the treatment plan and ensure proper documentation and billing.
• Perform other duties as assigned to effectively treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily.
