Job summary

Evolve Therapy Services in Selma, AL is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant for an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. The position is available as Full Time or PRN.

Responsibilities include planning, organizing, developing, and directing Occupational Therapy Services to ensure high-quality resident care while complying with federal, state, and local standards. CMS documentation and billing are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy required.
• MUST have active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education to maintain licensure.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular resident screenings to determine best intervention.
• Perform treatment plans following established goals.
• Interpret and communicate evaluation findings to residents and families.
• Create therapy schedules with the team.
• Document and bill OT services per CMS standards.
• Carry out additional duties to ensure quality care.
• Adhere to CMS documentation standards daily.
