Evolve Therapy Services in Birmingham, AL is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (PRN) to support an in-house Skilled Nursing Facility. The OTA will plan, organize, and direct occupational therapy services under supervision to ensure high-quality resident care.

Responsibilities include resident screening, implementing treatment plans, documenting findings, coordinating schedules with the team, and ensuring CMS-compliant billing.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Occupational Therapy.
• Active OTA licensure in state(s) of practice.
• Ongoing continuing education and professional development to maintain current licensure and certification.

Responsibilities

• Screen residents to determine best intervention.
• Carry out treatment plan and follow goals set by supervising therapist.
• Interpret and share evaluation findings with residents, families, and interdisciplinary team.
• Establish therapy schedules with team members.
• Conduct therapy per plan and document/bill services.
• Perform other duties as assigned to treat patients.
• Comply with CMS documentation standards daily.
