Job summary

Riverwood Healthcare Center in Stockton, CA is seeking an Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA/COTA) to join a close-knit rehab team. You will deliver skilled OT treatment under the supervising OT, focusing on ADLs, IADLs, upper extremity function, and cognitive retraining.

The role offers $45–$55 per hour, a $2,500 sign-on bonus, a full-time schedule with 8-hour shifts, and mentorship for new grads; benefits include medical/dental/vision, 401(k) match, paid time off, and supportive leadership.

Qualifications

• Active California OTA license required.
• Current BLS/CPR certification (AHA) or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to safely assist with transfers, positioning, and lifting.

Responsibilities

• Deliver skilled OT treatment under the plan of care set by your supervising OT.
• Track resident progress and report changes or concerns to the supervising OT.
• Train residents and families on home programs, adaptive strategies, and safe equipment use.
• Support discharge planning alongside the interdisciplinary team.
• Complete timely, accurate documentation.
