Job summary

Apploi is seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to support occupational therapists in delivering treatments and developing plans. You will assist in direct patient care, document progress, and help families with home programs and adaptive equipment usage.

The role requires state licensure and an associate degree in OT, with strong communication and organizational skills to collaborate with the care team and ensure high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree from an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Current state licensure as Occupational Therapy Assistant.
• Proficiency with all applicable state, federal, and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Select therapy activities to fit patients’ needs and capabilities; observe and record progress.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals involved in the patient’s care.
• Instruct patients and families in home programs, basic living skills, and the use of adaptive equipment.
• Assess daily living skills and assist with dressing and grooming.
• Assemble, clean, and maintain equipment and materials for patient use.
• Demonstrate therapy techniques and assist with progress reviews.
• Attend care plan meetings to review patient progress and update care plans.
