Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation is seeking qualified occupational therapy assistant candidates to join our dynamic team. The OTA will work under the guidance of an occupational therapist to assist in implementing individualized plans of care and to support patients through all phases of therapy.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the occupational therapy team, keeping detailed treatment notes, and ensuring high-quality patient outcomes using standard OT equipment.

Qualifications

• Assist treating patients by following an individualized plan of care developed by Occupational Therapists.
• Develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
