Job summary

UCI Health is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to work under the direction of an Occupational Therapist, providing patient care interventions in an acute rehab setting. The incumbent will initiate and perform care activities, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support recovery and functional outcomes.

Qualified candidates hold current OTA certification, have at least 1 year of acute rehab experience, and demonstrate excellent English communication and customer

Qualifications

• Current valid Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an acute rehab setting as an OTA.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace and meet workload demands.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the Health System.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork abilities.
