Job summary

Qualifications

• Must possess the skill, knowledge, and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties.
• Must possess current valid Physical Therapy Assistant License.
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job.
• Minimum 1 year experience working in an acute rehab setting as a physical therapy assistant.
• Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English.
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Independently initiate and perform patient treatments using various procedures, modalities and instructions.
• Remove and reapply dressings as needed, provide transportation, patient education, and daily progress notes.
• Prepare schedules for patients' treatment and clean/disinfect equipment as needed.
• Ensure accurate charge entry and perform other duties as assigned.
