Job summary

EY seeks an OT Senior Architecture & Governance Issues/Defect Solution Analyst to lead governance and defect resolution across OT environments. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure, compliant OT operations and provide architecture oversight for OT systems, VLANs, and controls.

The role emphasizes defect intake, tracking, and weekly reviews, with reporting on milestones and deliverables.

Qualifications

• Experience with Operational Technology (OT) environments and governance.
• Experience with end-to-end issues management and defect tracking.
• Experience with defect intake, exception review, and change request workflows.
• Ability to build and manage SOPs, trackers, and reporting templates.
• Strong familiarity with manufacturing/OT environments and related safety/quality considerations.
• Experience with security architecture design and assessment of technologies (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS, AI/ML, ZTA).
• Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (NERC CIP, NIS, CIS, NIST CSF, ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443).
• Ability to apply these frameworks to OT environments and defect resolution processes.

Responsibilities

• Review OT system designs for alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Maintain and evolve governance frameworks, SOPs, and documentation.
• Support change review boards and architecture decision forums.
• Lead defect intake, triage, and remediation cycles.
• Track and report on defects, risks, and remediation progress.
• Facilitate weekly defect review meetings and ensure timely follow-ups with stakeholders.
• Partner with OT architects, system owners, cybersecurity teams, and DECA to resolve issues.
• Provide guidance to site teams on governance and defect matters.
• Communicate clearly across technical and non-technical audiences.
• Identify gaps in documentation and propose updates.
• Develop standard work and LEAN process improvements.
• Review and approve OT architectures focusing on security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
• Establish governance frameworks and best practices for OT design processes.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess designs and provide recommendations.
• Facilitate decision-making for OT architecture with stakeholder alignment.
• Conduct risk assessments and impact analyses for changes to OT systems.
• Stay current with OT trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
