Job summary

TheraDynamics is seeking a dedicated Occupational Therapist to support residents in an assisted living setting. You will conduct comprehensive evaluations, develop treatment plans aimed at functional independence, and address ADLs, cognitive retraining, and upper-extremity rehabilitation with safe discharge planning.

You will collaborate with nursing, physical therapy, speech-language pathology, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current or eligible for New York State OT license.
• NBCOT certification (or eligible).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans focused on functional independence.
• Collaborate with nursing, PT, SLP, and social work to ensure coordinated patient care.
• Address self-care skills, cognitive and perceptual deficits, home safety, adaptive equipment needs, and caregiver training.
