Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Waterville and Wauseon is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join a compassionate team across both Waterville and Wauseon locations. The role focuses on developing individualized rehab plans in skilled nursing facilities and acute care settings to help patients regain independence.

The optimal candidate will have proven OT experience, knowledge of physiology, and comfort working with diverse populations, including children with special needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in occupational therapy within skilled nursing facilities or acute care settings is preferred.
• Familiarity with developing care plans and discharge planning processes for diverse patient populations.
• Knowledge of physiology and its application in therapeutic practices is essential.
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities, including autism spectrum disorders, is highly desirable.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals are required.
• A commitment to providing high-quality patient service while fostering a supportive rehabilitation environment.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working in skilled nursing facilities. This role involves developing and implementing individualized care plans to assist patients in achieving their rehabilitation goals.

Position will float between Ayden Healthcare of Waterville and Ayden Healthcare of Wauseon.
