Job summary

Ayden Healthcare of Toledo seeks a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our therapy team under the Director of Therapy. The OTA will provide high-quality care to patients and help improve their daily living activities (ADLs).

Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, direct patient care, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and collaborating with health professionals to optimize patient outcomes in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• Must hold OTA certification from an accredited program.
• Experience in skilled nursing settings preferred but not required.
• Strong understanding of anatomy and physiology relevant to OT.
• Familiarity with medical terminology and documentation standards.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with patients, families and healthcare teams.
• Empathy, patience, and patient-centered care mindset.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting progress.

Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team. The COTA will work under the supervision of the Director of Therapy to provide high-quality care to patients. This role is essential in helping patients achieve their rehabilitation goals and improve their daily living activities (ADLs).

Duties

• Assist in the implementation of individualized treatment plans as directed by the Director of Therapy.
• Provide direct patient care, ensuring safety and comfort during therapy sessions.
