Job summary

The Kroger Co. is seeking a pharmacist to deliver patient-centered medication therapy services at our on-site Ohio State University location.

Services include comprehensive medication reviews, interventions, and education, performed from a centralized contact center with direct patient and provider interaction. Your duties include resolving medication-related problems, improving adherence, mentoring students, and ensuring compliant care while meeting productivity expectations.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree required (BS-Pharmacy or PharmD).
• Licensed and in good standing with State Board of Pharmacy in resident state.
• Willing to obtain additional non-resident licenses as assigned.
• ASHP-accredited residency or 2+ years relevant pharmacy experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Identify, prioritize, and resolve medication-related problems and determine follow-up care.
• Help patients identify barriers to adherence and develop solutions.
• Use professional communication to engage patients/caregivers in decision making.
• Formulate therapeutic goals based on medications and disease states using guidelines.
• Make professional recommendations to other healthcare team members clearly and timely.
• Display cultural competence and respect for diversity in patient care.
• Precept and mentor IPPEs and APPEs; supervise staff or residents.
• Ensure patient information and practice areas are handled compliantly.
• Meet productivity and performance expectations set forth by supervisor.
