Job Description

Deliver prompt and courteous service to guests, ensure timely completion of server orders, and maintain high guest satisfaction by providing quality Food and Beverage service in a controlled environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests promptly and courteously; be knowledgeable about all outlet and hotel activities.
• Offer menus and take food orders for hors d'oeuvres.
• Maintain a professional appearance and ensure the bar meets all specifications and standards.
• Attend department meetings regularly.
• Deliver beverages to guests, monitor drinks, and anticipate guest needs.
• Handle open checks and process payments accurately.
• Prepare drinks and fulfill guest and server orders efficiently.
• Provide timely refills within one minute of a drink being empty.
• Ensure proper payment processing upon guest departure.
• Maintain extensive knowledge of spirits, beers, and wines offered at each bar.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of local liquor laws and regulations.
• Possess alcohol training certification (TABC) and food handler's certification.
• Ability to operate POS systems such as Micros.
• Previous cash handling experience preferred.
• Adhere to cash handling policies and procedures.
• Previous bartending experience is preferred.
• Maintain liquor stock levels and make daily requisitions for bottle exchanges.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
