Job summary

Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Florida seeks an Osteopathic Principles and Practice Clinical Faculty member. The role focuses on teaching in the OPP course as a table trainer and delivering lectures to first and second year osteopathic medical students.

You will interview candidates, advise students, participate in committees and clubs, and contribute scholarly activity annually while preparing educational tools and demonstrations for the curriculum.

Qualifications

• D.O. degree required and Florida medical license or eligibility
• Teaching experience in academia with 2–5 years preferred
• Experience in Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine is not essential

Responsibilities

• Serve as an instructor and table trainer in the OPP course
• Lecture to first and second year osteopathic medical students
• Interview prospective candidates for the College of Medicine
• Advise assigned students and participate in committees and clubs
• Contribute to scholarly activity with yearly projects
• Assist with curriculum development and educational tool preparation
• Participate in community outreach and professional service
• Attend team meetings and take direction from leadership
