Job summary

MountainLtd. in Portland, OR seeks an OSP Inspector to ensure underground, buried and aerial facilities meet standards through inspections and contractor corrections.

The OSP Inspector III will document inspections, audits and pole transfers electronically and communicate by email and phone. Travel on short notice may be required; leadership of inspector teams and interface with client and vendor management are expected to ensure project quality and safety.

Qualifications

• Experience performing NESC inspections or experience working on an aerial cable line crew.
• Experience with wooden pole ground line inspections.
• Proficiency in OSP Construction Standards.
• Familiarity with the National Electric Safety Code.
• Computer experience: Windows XP, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with mapping tools such as MapPoint.
• Familiar and comfortable with internet usage, and web page browsing.
• Good communication skills.
• Personal time management and organization skills.
• Construction contractor management skills.
• Experience in managing teams of inspectors and their workflow.
• A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel on short notice.
