Job summary

Zunch Staffing seeks an OSP Field Engineer for a client in the telecom sector. This role focuses on planning, design, and field data collection for aerial, buried, underground, and building applications. You will ensure accurate field notes, coordinate data, and safe, compliant field operations.

Responsibilities include site visits, data collection, and supporting design and permitting. Occasional travel and outdoor work are required across the designated market.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; post-secondary education in related field preferred.
• At least 1 year of telecom/utilities/construction experience; fiber exposure a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering schematics; strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform site visits and collect field notes for design drawings.
• Determine scope of work from sites and design requests.
• Capture coordinates of buried utilities within 50 ft of proposed underground path.
• Conduct comprehensive field surveys and note obstacles (railroads, flood areas, gated communities, etc.).
• Deliver projects on time with high quality; communicate concerns to OSP Designer.
