Adesta, an Allied Universal® Company, is hiring a OSP Specialist. The OSP Specialist supervises and maintains control of outside plant (OSP) activities surrounding a given work site, maintains accurate records of construction underway, and makes recommendations in support of the project schedule.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervisor of crews, interpretation of utility records, and documentation to support construction, permitting and project timelines; supervise tasking, assess crew capabilities, and

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering.
• Associate’s degree in construction management or engineering with at least 3 years of OSP engineering or construction experience.
• Technical certification with at least 4 years of OSP engineering or construction experience.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise crews performing OSP activities and ensure safe work per standards.
• Interpret underground utility records and maps to prepare field notes for CAD.
• Suggest changes in running line or methods based on conditions.
• Engage in engineering, permitting, and construction processes to support the project contract.
• Document work and communicate with owner and agencies.
• Manage OSP fiber optic splicing, termination, testing, and documentation.
• Lead crews or subcontractor tasking to meet tasks based on schedules.
• Assess crew capabilities to inform daily planning.
