Job summary

Tower Engineering Professionals in Tampa, FL is seeking a full-time Engineering Associate to join our engineering team. The role involves developing OSP/ISP design documentation, conducting site walks, and coordinating with the CAD department to produce construction drawings.

Qualifications

Associates or Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 3-5 years of direct telecommunications experience.
Must possess knowledge of telecommunications network design principles and processes.
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D.
Strong oral and written communication skills; highly organized.

Responsibilities

Development of OSP and ISP design documentation, plans, and specifications, special drawings/plant records.
Conduct site walks and collect field notes for CAD department.
Designate the placement of handholes, cables, and terminals in aerial, buried and underground locations.
Create construction drawings with information on existing facilities and required assembly units.
Perform other duties as requested and in line with company values.
Travel up to 20% for field visits and meetings.
