Job summary

The OSP (Outside Plant) Construction Inspector at Ezee Fiber will oversee the installation of outside plant facilities for telecommunications networks, ensuring work meets industry standards and project plans, while coordinating with contractors to protect private property and stay on schedule.

This role requires a high school diploma, up to three years of experience in OSP construction, the ability to read blueprints, strong communication skills, and a valid driver's license; travel up to 30%

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; fiber optics certifications are a plus.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to work independently or in a team.
• Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the construction and installation of outside plant facilities for telecommunications networks.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA and industry standards and project designs.
• Coordinate with contractors and stakeholders to meet schedule and budget.
• Perform quality control inspections and resolve construction issues.
• Maintain documentation of construction activities and progress reports.
