Job summary

Metronet is hiring an OSP Field Supervisor in Albuquerque, NM to ensure safe, standards-compliant construction of our fiber network. You’ll inspect aerial and underground work, lead crews, and act as the company ambassador to the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED, or 3–5 years related experience.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent communications and diplomacy skills.
• Valid driver license with clean driving record.
• Ability to work independently under deadline pressure.

Responsibilities

• Maintain understanding of specifications, standard practices, and safety.
• Inspect aerial fiber placement on poles and underground conduit installation.
• Approve all unitized completed aerial work to Metronet’s standards.
• Manage the OSP Construction Tracker.
• Monitor the approved budget for each assigned work order.
• Respond to utility strikes, investigate, and document within 24 hours.
• Conduct weekly safety, construction, and quality audits of contractors.
• Identify contractor training needs and arrange training.
• Ensure weekly tailgate safety meetings in the languages employees are fluent.
