Job summary

The Y Canberra Region is seeking an OSHC Coordinator to lead daily operations, mentor educators, and ensure high‑quality, child‑centred After School Care programs. You will work with the Area Manager to deliver engaging learning experiences aligned with MTOP, NQF and NQS.

You will build partnerships with families and the community, oversee safety, documentation, and staff development, and promote safeguarding practices across services.

Qualifications

• Mandatory: 2+ years in OSHC/OOSH or School Age Care.
• ACECQA-approved qualification requirements as per regulations.
• Knowledge of MTOP, NQF, EYLF mandatory.
• First Aid & CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's licence with willingness to travel between locations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day service operations, staffing and compliance.
• Lead and mentor educators to plan and evaluate learning experiences.
• Ensure safe, inclusive, child-centred programs aligned with MTOP and EYLF.
• Foster partnerships with families and the local community.
• Support safeguarding and regulatory requirements.
