Job summary

The South Carolina Department of Transportation in Conway, SC seeks a safety-focused Unit Training Coordinator. Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Plan monthly safety meetings and employee orientation.
• Schedule and conduct training on Bloodborne Pathogens, Chainsaw, CPR, PPE, and other safety measures.
• Inspect facilities for OSHA and department guidelines compliance.
• Coordinate Spill Prevention, SPCC and SWIPP activities; supervise waste storage/disposal.
• Maintain OSHA logs and injury reports; coordinate hazard communications.
