Job summary

Trivent Safety Consulting seeks a Site Safety Coordinator for a commercial construction project in Abilene, Texas. The role focuses on daily field safety operations, OSHA compliance, and promoting a proactive safety culture on site.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30 Certification
• OSHA 10 Certification
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work independently in fast-paced construction environments
• Strong understanding of OSHA standards and field safety practices

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and audits
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies
• Lead toolbox talks, safety orientations, and daily safety briefings
• Identify, document, and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors
• Assist with incident investigations and corrective actions
• Maintain safety documentation, reports, and compliance records
• Work closely with field supervision and project management teams
• Monitor subcontractor compliance and jobsite safety performance
• Support a culture of accountability and proactive hazard prevention
