Job summary

Vaughn Construction seeks a Project Safety Coordinator for our Texas projects. You will manage site safety programs, conduct audits, investigate incidents, train personnel, and oversee workers’ compensation administration to keep projects safe and compliant.

The ideal candidate has CSP/OHST/CHST, OSHA 500/502 in four years, bilingual in English and Spanish, and a proven ability to coordinate across crews, owners, and subcontractors on high‑risk commercial builds.

Qualifications

• Ability to deal with a variety of people from craft workers to project Owners.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences.
• Bilingual or ability to translate between English and Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Administers both the GC and Owner safety program requirements.
• Develops specific onsite safety programs and conducts site audits.
• Trains personnel and administers workers’ compensation claims.
• Performs incident investigations and maintains HAZCOM records and training documentation.
• Administers First Aid, CPR, and AED on site and stays current on safety regulations.
