Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Forklift Operator for the New Castle, DE facility to safely operate a forklift for stacking material, loading trailers, and emptying containers. You will perform pre- and post-operation inspections and work under the shift supervisor's daily assignments.

You will organize warehouse materials, coordinate with the supervisor to empty full containers, and maintain equipment readiness while complying with all safety policies and OSHA requirements.

Qualifications

• Must complete and pass OSHA forklift certification training (29 CFR 1910.178).
• Prior forklift operation experience is required.
• Ability to follow safety policies and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspections of the forklift.
• Load trailers safely and efficiently; organize warehouse materials.
• Coordinate with supervisor to empty full containers and trash bins.
• Maintain equipment in operational condition to minimize downtime.
