Job summary

Republic Services, Inc. is seeking a Forklift Operator to operate forklifts safely for stacking materials, loading trailers, and unloading containers across the facility.

The role requires conducting pre- and post-operation inspections and maintaining a clean, organized warehouse environment. Responsibilities include loading trailers, coordinating with supervisors, and ensuring equipment is ready for use while adhering to all safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Must complete OSHA forklift certification (powered industrial truck) training as set forth in 29 CFR 1910.178.
• Good customer services skills to meet and exceed customer expectations; acts professionally toward customers and co-workers.

Responsibilities

• Perform pre- and post-operation inspection of forklift and equipment to ensure safe operation.
• Report to shift supervisor for daily work assignments.
• Load trailers safely and efficiently.
• Organize materials in the warehouse.
• Coordinate with supervisor to empty full containers and trash bins.
• Monitor equipment condition to minimize downtime and follow safety policies.
