Job summary

A. Duie Pyle is seeking an OS&D (Over, Short & Damage) Representative to join our team.

This role is responsible for performing quality control inspections on our freight shipments and fielding calls about delivery discrepancies to resolve problems, ensuring accurate documentation and communication. The position requires strong attention to detail and excellent communication to interface with drivers, customers, and terminals.

Qualifications

• Ability to interface effectively with Pyle personnel and customers.
• Previous dock and or warehouse operations experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills; ability to demonstrate a customer first mentality.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Field calls from drivers regarding delivery discrepancies.
• Contacting customers and other terminals to resolve OS&D problems.
• Assisting in OS&D projects as needed by terminal management.
• Scanning and typing OS&D related bills and paperwork.

OS&D responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Fielding calls from Drivers regarding delivery discrepancies
• Contacting customers and other terminals to resolve OS&D problems
• Assisting in projects as needed by terminal management
• Scanning and typing OS&D related bills
• Assisting in inspecting and tagging OS&D freight on the dock
• Providing backup to appointments and bring backs
