Read Write Learning Center in Baldwin County / Daphne, AL is seeking an Instructional Lead to empower struggling readers through Orton-Gillingham-based language therapy and strong instructional leadership. You will supervise instructors, monitor progress data, and support families while coordinating with a branch leadership team.

The role emphasizes relationship-building with students, parents, and staff, with a 40-hour workweek and a high standard for instructional quality.

Qualifications

• Deep understanding of Orton-Gillingham-based academic language therapy and the field of learning disabilities.
• Specialized training and credentials in dyslexia are a strong plus; candidates motivated to pursue this training are encouraged to apply.
• Strong reading, writing, and spelling skills.

Responsibilities

• Observe instructors and provide clear, actionable feedback.
• Answer instructor questions related to students and curriculum.
• Assist the Human Resource Manager with hiring and training new instructors.
• Monitor student progress and oversee the collection and quality of progress-monitoring data.
• Create or curate additional support for students who are struggling.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student progress and answer questions related to learning differences.
• Collaborate with branch staff to plan events and build a strong instructor community.
• Teach Orton-Gillingham-based academic language therapy lessons.
• Serve as an active member of the Branch Leadership Team.
