Orton-Gillingham Teacher (Part-Time/Full-Time)

Clearway School is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Orton-Gillingham Teacher to join our team on a part-time basis. This position requires a minimum commitment of three days per week and is ideal for an educator who is passionate about supporting students with language-based learning differences.

In addition to providing Orton-Gillingham instruction, additional hours may be available as a teaching assistant.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized and small-group Orton-Gillingham instruction.
• Monitor student progress and adjust instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with teachers, specialists, and families.
• Maintain accurate records and progress documentation.
• Support classroom instruction and student learning as needed in a Teaching Assistant role.

Qualifications

• Orton‑Gillingham training required at a minimum at an Associate level.
• Experience working with students with dyslexia, language-based learning disabilities, or other learning differences preferred.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to be flexible and responsive to student and program needs.
• Bachelors Degree required.

Schedule

• Minimum of 3 days per week approximately; 20+ hours per week.
• Part-time position.
• Additional hours may be available through classroom support and Teaching Assistant responsibilities as needed.
