Job summary

Rothman Orthopaedics is seeking an Entry-level Orthotics Technician in Marlton, NJ to join our orthopaedic team. The role involves preparing patients, assisting with casts and orthotic fabrication, and ensuring accurate documentation and insurance pre-certifications.

The candidate should have a High School diploma or GED, and familiarity with MS Office; prior clinical experience is a plus. Office hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm, with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Experience in a clinical position preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets patient and prepares patient for procedure; provides education.
• Assists in determining device specifications per physician's prescription.
• Applies or removes casts/splints and fabricates orthotic devices.
• Fits, tests and adjusts devices for proper fit and comfort.
• Verifies benefits, completes pre-certifications and documents patient records.
