The Orthotics & Prosthetics Technician II independently fabricates orthotic and prosthetic devices, including highly technical devices, with guidance from other technicians and practitioners. The Technician II performs fabrication efficiently and with limited supervision, repairs prostheses as needed, and maintains supply inventories. They fabricate devices with enough lead time to meet delivery deadlines and assist practitioners with casting and fitting, ensuring fabrication tracking is up to date in OPIE.
