Job summary

Ottobock.care is seeking residents to train across multiple clinics nationwide, delivering quality orthotics and professional services guided by decades of experience in patient care. The program emphasizes hands-on fabrication, fitting, and post-delivery support within a collaborative learning environment.

Qualifications

• Master of Science in Orthotics & Prosthetics required.
• Understanding of biomechanics, pathomechanics, gait analysis, kinesiology, anatomy, and physiology.
• Proficient in MS Office and databases.
• Clear written and oral communication with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Help deliver quality orthotics and professional services in relation to patient care.
• Assist in actual fabrication as needed to assure quality, fit, function, timely delivery.
• Perform fitting, including static and dynamic alignments.
• Instruct patient in use of device.
• Post-delivery service and adjustments for assigned patients.
• Provide information to administrative staff to conduct reimbursement activities.
• Maintenance of all patient charts and records of care and service, current and complete each day.
• Identify and create improvements to processes to promote efficiency and productivity.
• Special projects as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
