ForMotion Clinics, affiliated with Embla Medical and Össur, offers a residency in orthotics and prosthetics designed to train competent, autonomous clinicians within a collaborative healthcare team.

Under supervision, residents learn patient assessment, treatment planning, and follow-up while documenting care and ensuring medical necessity. The program includes hands-on fabrication, patient education, and ongoing development opportunities across the Össur ecosystem.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited Orthotics & Prosthetics program.
• Enrollment in a Masters-level program with an integrated residency design.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to policies and regulations in patient care and billing.
• Perform comprehensive clinical examinations and develop treatment plans.
• Fit and align orthosis/prosthesis and educate patients.
• Maintain clean fabrication areas and follow quality standards.
• Participate in daily huddles and complete required training.
