Job summary

Mary Free Bed Rehabilitation Hospital seeks an O&P Technician to assist in fabrication, repair, and fitting of orthoses or prostheses as prescribed by a physician.

You will work with Orthotists/Prosthetists, fabricate casts, operate workshop equipment, and support in patient measurements across clinical settings. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• One year experience as an O&P Technician or equivalent field.
• Able to follow detailed directions and operate tools (drill presses, ovens, cutters, grinders, lathes, polishers).
• Works well with people.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates casts according to measurements and specifications.
• Repairs or maintains orthoses or prostheses as delegated.
• Assists in patient measurements with Orthotists/Prosthetists in clinical settings.
• Operates workshop machinery and assists in weeping inventory and records.
