Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Fabrication Technician to fabricate and repair orthoses and prostheses, ensuring maximum fit, function, cosmetics and workmanship. The role requires familiarity with fabrication techniques, materials and safety practices.

You will train peers, support inventory tasks, and contribute to a high-quality patient care workflow. The position emphasizes hands-on craftsmanship, adherence to regulations, and collaboration with O&P teams to deliver reliable devices across

Qualifications

• Experience with fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices according to standards.
• Knowledge of materials and fabrication techniques used in O&P.
• Ability to train peers and collaborate within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication and repair of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices per quality standards.
• Occasionally train Associate Fabricators and peers.
• Occasionally act as informal team lead within the workstream.
• Assist with ordering, receiving and inventory tasks.
• Work on 3–4 device types within Orthotic/Prosthetic workstreams.
• Maintain 5S for a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
• Follow OSHA and HIPAA regulations and training.
