Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in an orthotic/prosthetic lab or similar setting desired.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools and understanding of material properties.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate orthotic and prosthetic components based on prescriptions or designs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, and equipment (vacuum forming, laminating, 3D printing) to create devices.
• Shape, grind, and polish plastics, metals, composites, and foams.
• Inspect, adjust, and repair devices to ensure proper fit and function.
• Modify devices to meet clinical specifications.
• Perform basic maintenance and calibration of fabrication equipment.
