Job summary

Hanger, Inc. is seeking a Clinical Aide to support certified clinicians in orthotic and prosthetic patient care. You will prepare treatment rooms and assist with fabrication, molds, and fittings while maintaining strict documentation and safety standards.

Under supervision, you will support patient care tasks, coordinate with clinicians, and help ensure high-quality outcomes in a fast-paced clinical environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of experience in a customer service or patient facing role.
• Preference for allied health professionals (PTA, OTA, Athletic trainer, etc).
• Must have, or be eligible to obtain, a valid driver’s license.
• If the Clinical Assistant holds a recognized license or certification in a related allied health profession, they may be supervised under Indirect Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist certified clinicians in delivering patient care services under direct supervision.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for clinical procedures.
• Perform technical fabrication tasks, including making and modifying molds.
• Execute treatment modifications, adjustments, and repairs as directed by the supervising clinician.
• Fit and provide soft goods items to patients.
• Provide alterations and adjustments to soft goods items as needed.
• Provide orthotics fitting services independently.
• Assist with selected patient follow-up care under clinician direction.
• Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation of all patient care provided.
• Communicate patient information and care outcomes to the supervising clinician.
• Ensure all patient procedures comply with clinical protocols and standards.
