Job summary

Hanger, Inc. in Lenexa, KS is seeking an Associate Fabricator to fabricate orthotic and prosthetic devices with emphasis on fit, function, cosmetics, and workmanship.

On-the-job training and LMS-based O&P training will be provided, and you will maintain tools, equipment, and materials per device instructions. Responsibilities include performing fabrication tasks to company standards, supporting inventory, maintaining a safe 5S workspace, and adhering to OSHA and HIPAA regulations while

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; no experience required.
• Preferred: <1 year of related experience in environments with machinery, tools, design, fabrication, etc.
• Without diploma/GED, 1 year of related experience in O&P environments that include machinery, tools, design, fabrication, componentry.

Responsibilities

• Perform fabrication of orthotic and/or prosthetic devices, according to Company standards.
• May assist with or perform inventory tasks such as ordering/receiving.
• Maintain 5S and a safe, clean, organized work environment.
• Adhere to OSHA and safety regulations.
• Comply with HIPAA and other regulatory training.
