About Us:

Coastal Prosthetics and Orthotics has been proudly serving our community for over 20 years, providing high-quality, patient-centered orthotic and prosthetic care throughout Hampton Roads and Northeast North Carolina. Our experienced, compassionate team is dedicated to helping individuals regain mobility, independence, and confidence through custom O&P solutions.

We are currently seeking a skilled Orthotics and Prosthetics Technician to join our Chesapeake-based fabrication team. If you're detail-oriented, mechanically inclined, and passionate about helping others, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Fabricate, assemble, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices in accordance with clinician specifications and industry standards
• Work with a variety of materials including plastics, laminates, leather, and metals
• Assist with modifications and adjustments to ensure optimal fit and function
• Maintain lab cleanliness, equipment, and inventory
• Collaborate with clinicians and other technicians to deliver high-quality outcomes for patients
• Adhere to safety and quality control procedures

Requirements:

• Certified Orthotic and Prosthetic Technician (ABC or BOC)
• – OR –
• A minimum of 5 years of experience working as an O&P Technician
• Strong craftsmanship and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and clinician work orders
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Familiarity with O&P fabrication equipment and materials
