Job description

Orthopedic Surgeon Opportunity - Northwest Minnesota

Northwest Minnesota hospital is seeking to add a general orthopedic surgeon to its on-campus practice. The current team includes one full-time surgeon, one Nurse Practitioner, and two Physician Assistants.

The weekly schedule features clinic and operating room blocks, with 1-3 days of outreach per provider. Call duties are rotated on a 1:2 basis, covering weekdays and weekends. Providers have access to PACS and EMR systems from home, reducing after-hours time in the facility.

Compensation includes a $600,000 annual base salary, a $100,000 signing bonus, and a $50,000 retention bonus after two years. Benefits are comprehensive, including self-insured malpractice, tail coverage, short and long-term disability, retirement plans, and a minimum of six weeks' time off annually.
