Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is seeking Physician Assistants committed to delivering high-quality care in California. Under physician supervision, PAs provide preventive and evaluative health services across primary care or specialty departments, performing exams, ordering tests, and crafting care plans.

Qualified candidates must have PA or RN/NP pathways, relevant licensure for California, and the ability to manage complex cases with integrity and patient-centered focus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an approved Physician Assistant Program or RN/NP pathway.
• NP Masters degree in nursing if applicable (effective 1/1/03).

Responsibilities

• Collect subjective data (history).
• Collect objective data (physical examination).
• Develop an assessment (diagnosis).
• Develop and implement a management plan.
• Facilitate referrals to facilities and community resources.
• Order pharmacologic interventions.
• Develop and implement an educational plan.
• Plan for appropriate follow-up care.
• Care for patients with complicated medical or surgical conditions.

Education

Graduate of approved Physician Assistant Program

Graduate of accredited RN and NP Program

NP Masters degree (if applicable)
