Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Completion of the MA residency or obtain certification within 12 months of hire (if applicable). Medical Terminology, Medication History, and New Clinic Staff Class within 6 months and/or prior to testing

Responsibilities

• Prepare exam rooms, equipment, and supplies based on patient needs and the specific type of examination or procedure.
• Assist with patient scheduling for appointments, diagnostic tests, treatments, procedures, and surgeries. Help with registration and co-pay collection as necessary.
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vital signs, and other relevant data.
• Assist with minor procedures and physical exams, ensuring proper documentation in the patient’s medical record.
• Collect and label laboratory specimens according to Billings Clinic policies and ensure proper handling.
• Administer basic vaccines to eligible patients aged 18 and older.
