Job summary

Logan Health Orthopedics & Sports Medicine in Kalispell, MT is seeking a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to support patient care, clinic flow, and daily operations in a fast-paced specialty clinic.

You will greet and prepare patients, assist providers, collect specimens, document in the EMR, and help coordinate referrals and appointments while maintaining a compassionate, patient-centered approach.

Qualifications

• RMA or CMA certification required from an accredited certifying organization.
• RQI Provider (BLS) within seven days of hire or before providing independent patient care.
• One year of experience in a medical practice setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet, room, and prepare patients for examinations and treatments, including histories and vital signs.
• Assist providers during examinations, procedures, and treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Collect laboratory specimens and document patient information in the EMR.
• Coordinate patient care activities including referrals, testing, prior authorizations, appointments.
• Maintain exam rooms, equipment, and supplies and assist with calls and portal communications.
