St. Luke's University Health Network is seeking a Medical Assistant for Upper Bucks Orthopedics across Colmar, Harleysville, and Sellersville locations.

The role supports the care team with front-line clinical tasks and patient prep, records updates, and intra-practice communication. The ideal candidate will have a High School diploma or MA program completion, 1 year of clinical experience (or MA graduate), and current BLS/CPR certification.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required.
• One year of clinical experience OR graduate of Medical Assistant program.
• BLS/CPR certification current or within 60 days of hire.

Responsabilités

• Prepare patients for examination including measuring height and weight, vital signs, updating medication list and allergies, and obtaining visit reason.
• Assist in updating and charting patient records; communicate with Care Team as needed.
• Maintain exam rooms and supplies; perform injections or immunizations within state guidelines; dispose of bio-hazardous waste per protocol.
• Coordinate with providers and Care Team regarding hospital discharges, ED visits, labs, and referrals; support patient education on chronic conditions.
• Handle administrative tasks such as check-in/check-out, opening/closing office procedures, and updating patient demographics.
