Job summary

Premier Orthopaedics in partnership with Philadelphia Hand to Shoulder Center is hiring a Medical Assistant for Paoli, Exton and Collegeville, PA. This role supports clinicians, rooms patients, and coordinates care across multiple locations.

The position requires strong patient communication, EMR use, and a solid foundation in clinical procedures. Full-time hours, Monday–Friday, with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assistant training program preferred.
• Medical Assistant Certificate
• BLS certification preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a medical/healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience with EMR systems, insurance verification, and managed care operations preferred.
• Experience in fast-paced clinical environments with multiple priorities.
• Strong communication with patients, families, providers, and staff.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and obtain vitals; prepare for visits and document data in EMR.
• Assist with wound care, casting, sutures, and basic clinical procedures.
• Prepare prescriptions and patient forms; coordinate care across locations.
• Maintain exam room cleanliness and restock supplies; monitor biohazard/sharps.
• Retrieve voicemails and document actions in EMR; ensure documentation accuracy.
• Scan clinical documents into EMR and manage daily schedules.
