Qualifications

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
• BLS: Basic Life Support for the Healthcare Provider certified by the American Heart Association (AHA) is required.
• Certified Medical Assistants must have ONE of the listed certifications upon hire: CCMA, NCMA, CMA, RMA, CMAC.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination and assist with medical care.
• Input ancillary orders into EPIC and coordinate referrals and surgery scheduling.
• Assist front office and medical records team; manage in-basket and patient calls.
• Create a safe, customer-friendly atmosphere to provide high-quality service.
