Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a Medical Assistant Program or previous Medical Assistant experience preferred.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• To qualify for Medical Assistant 2: CCMA or CMA certification from CCMA/AAMA or approved body required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examinations/visits and assist providers as needed.
• Complete medication refills and follow up on lab results.
• Handle referrals to specialists and patient callbacks.
• Coordinate and order medical supplies; maintain exam rooms and equipment.
• Float to other Marshall Medical Clinics as needed and perform other duties as assigned.
