Job summary

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (credentialed or non-credentialed) for our Orthopedics East Clinic in NE Portland. You will work with a team of physicians and staff to provide high-value care and excellent patient experiences.

Responsibilities include patient prep, assisting with procedures, and scheduling. Requires 1 year MA experience; CPR/BLS; EMR experience (Epic preferred). Competitive benefits and hours Monday–Friday, on-site in NE Portland.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience as a Medical Assistant.
• Certification through a national agency such as AAMA or NCCT is preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS within 60 days of hire.
• Prior EMR experience, Epic preferred.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist medical staff by collecting information and preparing patients for examination.
• Assist with procedures and perform specialty-related tests/monitoring.
• Schedule appointments for new and established patients.
• Update patient records and documentation.
• Support overall delivery of patient care in the department.
