Job summary

Edmonds Orthopedic Center, a division of Proliance Surgeons, is seeking a full-time Certified Medical Assistant to join a busy orthopedic practice. The MA will coordinate patient care, maintain clinical supplies, and ensure accurate documentation following OSHA/WISHA guidelines.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years of medical office experience and a willingness to train. Washington MA certification is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program preferred, but not required. Training provided.
• Current Washington State Medical Assistant Certification preferred, but not required.
• 1-2 years’ experience in a medical office preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in direct patient care during office visits and exams.
• Prepare exam rooms and maintain supplies and sterilization.
• Document patient information in electronic records and coordinate care.
• Perform triage calls and post-op communications within 24 hours.
• Support providers during clinic procedures and ensure patient flow.
